I love this app but hated the fact that I could only use on my iPad in "portrait" mode. The updated version allows me to use it in landscape mode. The background and other features are refreshing. Thanks for making a good app perfect.

Please bring back the ability to use the app in portrait. Also, the images are terrible. Please keep things simple and go back to the clean design of before!
A great APP was ruined with their update. AWFUL! You dont even know what the workout is before you start it. Now it list total times without individual segments. Completely changed the app from what was purchased.
Its not bad. Only $2.99 for an 8-week training plan. Just remember, this is a pacer. If you cant run 3 miles already then this app might be difficult. However, I do find it challenging but I always feel good after I look at my ending time as its slowly decreasing.
I like this app. I am just getting into running. I started with 0 to 5k and am now using this app. The reason that I give it a four out 5 is because I wish there was a place to keep track of my speed and distance In the app it self.
Its missing some important features that keeps this app just average. Theres no indication of your current running pace. It doesnt allow you to set a metronome to help pace yourself. And it should have a built-in heart rate monitor, by holding your finger over the camera lens, to help you judge your exercise level.
The 5 k runner has changed my life! Now Im trying to run faster and this is training me awesome!
This app is exactly what I needed to take my 5K to the next level… I just started running this past year and completed training for a 10K and even went on to run my first half marathon… But my New Years resolution was to improve my 5K time. This app is just what the doctor ordered! Download it today! As a matter of fact, combine in situps and push-ups and download their bundle pack.
It does what it says, great app if you want to get better
I was finally cleared by my PT to run again . I used couch to 5k and now using the pacer to help me. They have both been great for Me.
This app doesnt allow you to track what you want, its a training and pace setting based on what it wants you to do, not a real pacing and distance tracking.
Got to week three day one and the app stopped working. Deleted and downloaded again same thing keeps happening. Can I have my money back?
When I purchased this app, I assumed it would reflect my pace after each run similar to what the C25k and 5k210k apps (from a different vendor) did. But I assumed wrong. Instead, this app is simply an 8-week series of timed runs of varying paces (e.g. jog vs fast run.) It does perform that function well. The start and stop commands can be heard clearly and the display is very easy to read, even if you check it while running. Although the description of the app does not indicate that it will reflect your pace, it seems logical that a "pacer" app would do just that. Instead, one must use a different app with gps functions at the same time to calculate pace.
Simple and it has worked for me so far. Wish it had gps and mileage and pace stats but this training program works better than those fancy apps. Flexible
It works!
Good app. to use after the 5k app. I use these apps. To guide me to 5k and 10k runs. I have to do some days 3 or 4 times as I have to work with asthma.
Started with the 5k app and now using the 5k pacer. By the 3rd run day I was already running faster without even feeling it. This app is definitely doing what its supposed to do.
Ive been lookin for a way to stay motivated outside the gym and trying to build a routine. These apps are amazing!
Give it a try
I love the app but why does it stop before it trains you to run the entire 5k at the faster pace?
